Ruby Tuesday's Card screw-up

Hey Ruby Tuesday,

Went to your restaurant in Ellenton, FL #7149 on Saturday 12-21-2013 and we're still paying the price. Ashley S.- 1166 was our server. Check # 6145.

First off, My Caribbean Chicken was drier then the Sahara Desert. Also a big mess with our ticket at the end of our visit that is still not rectified 72 hours later, with a VISA gift card still being billed when we used a different card after the server said your system would not allow the card because of a pre-programmed tip amount would put the amount over our card balance, although my dad was paying the tip with CASH! Pretty fucked up system you have!

You see, my dad used a gift card that had a balance of $37.15 on it to pay a bill of $32.99, and was going to give the balance of the card as part of the tip then some cash on top of that, but Ashley said your card system would not allow it because it automatically added a tip, which is an option by the way, not a given, as T.I.P.S. stands for to insure prompt service, which is always suppose to be at the customers discretion.

So, Ashley said, after my 83 year old dad who didn't understand a word Ashley said, gave her a real credit card, as opposed to the gift card he had gotten for Christmas from my brother. (Mind you, just 2 weeks ago my mom died of complications of a stroke, and if you don't believe me, just Google- Winifred Harasym, so my dad is kind of sensitive and still upset these days, as he was married just short of 60 years.) Ashley then told us it may take a day or so before the amount is credited back onto the gift card, or it could happen today.

So we left, and the following afternoon my dad sent me to Publix (I'm staying with my dad right now up through Jan 2, as I live in Wyoming, but being the standup guy I am, said I'd fore-go all my Christmas plans in Wyoming and all my doctor and physical therapy appointments, which are almost daily because I too am disabled with an inoperable brain tumor, and other neurological and physical issues, to be with dad during the tough times. I'll also be coming back for the month of March 2014, but I have no clue as to whether any of my siblings will step-up to the plate and help out---they're all talk, and no action types.) to pick-up some items, and use his gift card, but, you guessed it, it wasn't cleared up at that point. And the same BS happened again today! You see, these simple things now piss him off, because he is getting double-talked to by life insurance companies, and state pension department, and on and on, and if dad is pissed-off, then it makes me upset too, because it just shows a lack of concern by businesses and governments during these trying times in one's life. My dad has enough stress in his life then to be screwed around with over a $37.15 balance on a gift card that you all can't seem to rectify.

So, how is it, that it takes a nano-second to debit the card, but days to fix it? Whose the genius behind that great idea? You? VISA? Co-Conspirators?

So, your job now is to apologize to my Dad ASAP, and here's his address:
XXXXXXXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXXXXXX
His name is Joseph A. Harasym by the way, in case you really give a shit!

Now get 'er done!

I spent a life time in Food service, on many levels and managerial positions, so please, not lies or BS, as that doesn't float with me!

Good Night and Good Luck!
Bill Harasym

Another Official Ignorant E-Mail from Congressperson Cynthia Lummis or "Who Elects These IDIOTS?"

Another letter by Cynthia Lummis explaining why we need to cut Social Security, and her complete ignorance of what the program actually is about. Who elects these idiots?

December 18, 2013

William Harasym
200 Smith Street Apt 410
Sheridan, WY 82801-3842

Dear William:

Thank you for taking the time to contact me. The people of Wyoming are remarkably attentive to and knowledgeable about the tough issues facing our state and our nation. Decisions have to be made, and in confronting them I am fortunate to have so many Wyoming voices on which to rely.

Fortunately, I don't have to look very hard for advice. Since the first day of my service in the U.S. House of Representatives, I have received well over 200,000 letters, calls and emails from my neighbors around the state. But receiving over 1,100 pieces of correspondence each week means that I simply do not have the resources – or even enough minutes in the day – to respond to each of those letters in the kind of detail I would like. Still, I want you to know that your opinion has been read and filed so that I might reference it should the issues you raised come before me for a vote. In the meantime, please allow me to update you about my work in Washington D.C.

One thing that has not changed since I took office is the threat of our exploding national debt and deficit. Our national debt stands at over $16 trillion dollars. As a percentage of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), our debt is the highest it has been since World War II. This looming fiscal crisis is unlike any other in recent memory due to its sheer magnitude—if we don't stabilize the federal budget, it could cripple our economy in ways from which we may not recover. But it is also a predictable crisis, one for which there is still time to act, and one we must address lest we saddle future generations with the consequences of our spending addiction.

The main driver of our debt problem continues to be "mandatory spending," or tax-payer money that flows out of the federal government on autopilot every single year. Autopilot spending includes things like Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, school nutrition programs, food stamps, and interest on the debt. Our spending situation is so dire that if we ended all funding for every other program – including the entire Defense budget, the Department of Education, Labor, Agriculture, EPA, etc. – we still would not take in enough in taxes to cover the autopilot spending. Cuts to these programs alone won't entirely fix the problem, and President Obama's recent success in enacting tax increases on higher-income earners won't even make a dent. The bottom line is we must make significant, historic changes to our federal budget. Historic change requires historic leadership, which is why it is so disappointing that President Obama has offered four budgets in a row that accelerate the problem instead of tackling it. I am wholly committed to battling this President and my own Republican leaders to right our fiscal ship.

While I view nearly everything in Washington through the lens of the fiscal crisis, I have also secured a seat on three different House Committees, each of which will allow me to advance the interests of Wyoming families, job creators and our way of life. I had to receive special dispensation from House Leadership before even being considered for this extra workload, which I am privileged to shoulder.

As a senior Member of the Natural Resources Committee, I will help oversee the broadest portfolio of Wyoming issues in Congress—federal lands, mineral productions, nationals parks, forests, monuments, wilderness production, and Native American affairs. This truly is Wyoming's Committee, where I can advocate for responsible energy development, maintaining a multiple-use approach to Wyoming's beautiful public lands, and fighting for natural resource policies that are not hamstrung by litigation.

I have also been selected to the House Science Committee, where I will serve as Chairmen of the Subcommittee on Energy to bring sorely-needed accountability to the government's scientific judgment. With Wyoming's thriving energy market; unique land, water, and air quality needs; burgeoning science-based small businesses; and the new NCAR Supercomputer, it is imperative for Wyoming that sound science governs federal decision-making.

Last but not least among my assignments, I secured a seat on the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, the main investigative arm of the House of Representatives. Its broad mandate for Executive Branch oversight will help me pull back the curtain on Washington bureaucracies and the hyper-regulatory agendas that are weighing down jobs and economic growth in Wyoming.

In addition to these committee assignments, I am Vice-Chair of the Congressional Western Caucus, a collection of more than 40 Members of Congress across numerous other committees who work together to amplify the west's voice in Washington. I remain an active participant in the Women's Caucus, where I work with fellow female Members on gender issues and to ensure equitable opportunities for all. I am also a co-chair of the Second Amendment Task Force to preserve the constitutional right of law-abiding citizens to own and use firearms. Finally, I am a co-chair of the 10th Amendment Task Force, which is devoted to returning power and responsibility to State governments and the people, who ultimately know better than Washington what is best for them.

Thank you again for taking the time to write to me. I value your input. If you haven't done so already, I would like to encourage you to visit my website at www.lummis.house.gov. There you will find a wealth of information including helpful charts that illustrate our fiscal predicament http://lummis.house.gov/2v34598jv60234n/budgetcharts.htm. Please sign up for my newsletter. I promise I won't flood your email box, but I will provide you with updates once in a while about activities in Washington that affect our lives in Wyoming. Thanks again for contacting me, and I look forward to seeing you in Wyoming.

Sincerely,
Cynthia M. Lummis
Member of Congress

My answer is below:
Which part don't you understand? You screwed up my order, got it wrong and did a shitty job! And having previously spoken to your help, English appears to be a second language to them. If you are a decent human, you would refund part or all of the order, and PS, I don't need the flowers now as my mom, Winifred is buried and in the ground!

Hey JustFlower group,

As you can see, I originally had issues with your outfit, but it didn't and hasn't ended there.

This is the first opportunity I've had to write you about the flowers I ordered, as my mom was buried last Tuesday, and I'm staying on in Florida to assist my 83 year old dad who is extremely upset with his loss. But 1st, one quick question- why can't anyone write a review on your pages with the flowers? You show all these glowing reviews, mostly 5 stars, and with a few specific handwriting styles across the entire spectrum of reviews. (I ran it through a handwriting/grammar use program one of my friends at the FBI said he uses to identify handwriting styles.) So...? Why? Can't we write reviews? I know, you have the BBB A+, but to be honest, someone is asleep at the wheel there, as I read the scores of complaints...Unresolved at that!

OK, here's my major problem-

The flowers cost me over $200 when all things were said and done, and the quality of the presentation would have received an F- in my book, based on presentation, and complete lack of similarity to the picture presented on the website. Yes, I know you farm them out to real florists, some better then others, but whomever did mine, well, they suck, period.

Here are the pictures and explanations:
Now, the above was suppose to be what it looked like, plus the banner that was suppose
to read Loving Mother.
This was the description of it:
"Convey the essence of eternal light in vivid, heavenly splendor! Brimming with
citrus-colored roses, lilies, and daisies, this poignant and heart-shaped wreath
is artfully arranged with gorgeous accents and lovely greens."

And this:
Special Instructions:
Viewing is on 12/09/2013, 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Additional note from FH: No service.
Include- `Beloved Mother` funeral banner!

This is what I got. It was suppose to arrive on 12-8-2013 at the Funeral Home
per my instructions. It arrived late, halfway through the wake on Monday!
L.A.T.E.!!!
The arrangement looked nothing like a heart, but a wreath, as everyone thought it was.
It had 5 yellow roses and a dozen or so tiny, and what I say tiny, I mean 1/2 inch in
width little orange roses. There appears to be about 1/2 dozen chrysanthemums, and
about 2 dozen lilies, but they were all unopened and still in bud form, showing no colors
except green.
AND, there is NO BANNER, that I paid for,
whatsoever, on the arrangement. That clump of ribbons was not
a banner, just in case you were going that route!

There were many nice arrangements there, looking like they were done by professionals,
but mine looked like it was done by an amateur, and was highly unprofessional looking.
Look, my mom only dies once, and I wanted something nice, but instead I got this 3rd rate
piece of garbage. Here are some other pictures, and it felt weird having to take pictures
of it to show you all later.

Mine! No LILIES, except buds, and no freaking daisies, not a one.

Here are some other arrangements that looked way better then mine, and less expensive too.
Yes, this is what a Heart should look like, a heart,
with a banner also, and even daisies, like mine didn't have, yet was
suppose to.

The folks who actually did this disaster were:
Saddle Creek Florist
5829 26th Street West,
Bradenton, FL 34207
1-941-756-1855

With it all said and done, it was a horrible experience dealing with you folks, as it was the worst service ever, particularly the non-English speaking folks in your customer service unit, and the florist you farmed this out to. Either you kept a lot of the money and told her to send me junk, or you both are dirtbags and colluded in this particular disaster.
I realize you will come up with excuse after excuse, because I am probably not the 1st customer you screwed over, which is evident by all the complaints at the BBB in Los Angeles.
And what's with all the fake reviews, and the inability of real customers to actually review you all? Reminds me of the middle eastern guys in New York, Brooklyn and New Jersey who run these electronic product's websites, like DSLR's, point and shot cameras, etc., and sell you cameras at unbelievably low prices, but then lie to you saying they don't come with batteries or whatever when the company says they do and it's standard operating procedure. You must be from the same gene pool.
I wasn't happy at all, with basically anything you all did, so now you do what's right by me. You owe me, and you know it.

Thanks for your time and truly screwing up my order. Out-Sourced flowers don't work too well!

Dear Flower place,
Since I placed the order 30 minutes ago, I've received half a dozen phone calls asking the same questions about everything that was included on the order form. Now I don't know if it got messed up enroute to you location, wherever you all are calling from, but here is the info:

I do not live in FLORIDA, and I don't want the flowers delivered to me here in WYOMING, as some of your help thought. Maybe your system has been hacked or infiltrated by nefarious organizations like the NSA, or they are piggybacking the datalinks that communicate with your servers. Something ain't Kosher. Also, some of your employees need to work on their English, seriously.

Wake will be on Monday, 3:00 to 6:00P.M. at The Allen Moore Funeral Home and I want the flowers delivered tomorrow so that I know they are there for Monday.
I don't know what happened with my order in transit to your customer service unit, wherever that is located, but 6 calls, one right after the other, and half the people I couldn't understand at all.
Today isn't really the best time to mess with people whose mom just died.
Thanks for your time. And please don't screw this up.

Here's the Obituary in case you're still confused.

My Order- Part II or "Why JustFlowers.com really sucks! An Out-Sourced Company with FAKE Reviews!"

And this:

Subject: My Order

Dear Flower place,
Since I placed the order 30 minutes ago, I've received half a dozen phone calls asking the same questions about everything that was included on the order form. Now I don't know if it got messed up enroute to you location, wherever you all are calling from, but here is the info:
My Order number is 7456072.

My Name is William Harasym, and I live at:
200 Smith Street, Apt. 410
Sheridan, WYOMING in the USA
ZipCode is: 82801-3842
My Phone is 307-673-0155
CellPhone#: 307-752-5824

Now about the deceased, MY MOM:
Her Name is Winifred Harasym
She is at and this is where the FLOWERS GO!:

The Allen Moore Funeral Home
D. Alan Moore, Licensed Funeral Director
1222 Ellenton-Gillette Road. (Or 1222  36th Ave. E.) Both are the same place!
Ellenton, FLORIDA 34222
